Tour Plan
Arrive at Murtala Muhammed International Airport and transfer to your hotel on Victoria Island. After a welcome briefing and lunch, the afternoon is spent on Lagos Island — the ancient core of the city. Visit the National Museum to see Benin bronzes, Nok terracotta figurines, and colonial-era artefacts. Stroll through Campos Cathedral, one of Nigeria's oldest churches, and navigate the sensory overload of Balogun Market where traders hawk everything from Aso-Oke textiles to imported electronics. End the day with sunset cocktails at a rooftop bar overlooking the glittering Lagos Harbour.
Begin the morning at Nike Art Gallery (Lekki), a four-storey celebration of Nigerian creativity housing over 8,000 works of contemporary art. Your guide will introduce you to the artists and the stories behind the canvases. Head to Yaba — Lagos's tech and creative hub — for lunch at a beloved local buka (informal restaurant) before an afternoon tour of start-up co-working spaces, street murals, and independent fashion ateliers. As evening descends, move to Lekki Phase 1 for live music at a celebrated Afrobeats venue, ending the night dancing to the music that has conquered global charts.
Your final Lagos morning starts on the water — a guided boat safari through the Lagos Lagoon mangrove creeks, observing wading birds, river dolphins, and the stilt communities of Makoko, the "Venice of Africa", from a respectful distance. Return to the mainland for a sumptuous freshly caught seafood lunch at a local floating restaurant. The afternoon is reserved for Eko Atlantic — the world-class new district being reclaimed from the Atlantic Ocean, a symbol of Lagos's boundless ambition. A farewell dinner in Victoria Island precedes your transfer to the airport.
